The report cites the death of one of the injured in a hospital in Tehran on Tuesday, which raises the death toll to 484 people, including 237 men and 247 women.
According to the report, 426 people who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake were from Sarpol-e Zahab county in Kermanshah, about 15km (10 miles) from the Iran-Iraq border. Nineteen people died in Kerend, 16 others in Ghasr-e Shirin, and 12 people in Salas-e Babajani county, all situated in Kermanshah province in western Iran. The province itself was mostly unharmed, with only one person killed in the earthquake.
The 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck on November 12 about 64 miles (103km) southeast of the city of Sulaymaniyah, near the Iraq-Iran border. The tremor was felt in several provinces of Iran but the hardest hit province was Kermanshah. Over 12,000 people sustained injuries.
